Nothing going on

Just wanted to let you all know, there is nothing going on at the house site lately. I think we've come to the point of needing different crews in there, and we're on their list.

Anyway, it's been rainy, and construction is a pain (and messy) when it's wet.

Other than that I love the rain and have been kissing the sky daily...

It's win-win. Either it rains (YAY!), or my new house gets built (YAY!).

That's all I got.

It's still rainy and muddy. Going is slow on these days. We went to inspect what little may have been done, sneaking out so the cat would not follow us.

Well, I don't know how he got out, but you should have heard the plaintive meows coming closer and closer, a-la Jaws... mao... mao...mao... MAO! MAO! MAO!

It rained, roof not covered

No workers were at the new house site yesterday. They stayed pretty late on Monday, the 21st; I supposed that they were hurrying up to cover the top before the rain came. Alas, they failed.

September 14 (post 3 today)

Yesterday when we got home we saw... our foundation! White and sparkling against all the mud and clouds.

The cat is waiting for the tour to begin.
